The Big Strathie Bike Ride 2011 /
12
This season's challenge takes the crazy bikers from Hamilton in the
South to Orkney in the North.
This year the monies raised will be split between Lippen Care a
Hospice run out of Whitehills Hospital in Forfar and the Club House
Extension fund.
Strathmore Hospice was opened in April 2005. Lippen Care, a
locally based charity, raised funds to build and equip the
hospice and works in partnership with Angus Community Health
Partnership and NHS Tayside. The Hospice forms part of the
newly built Whitehills Health and Community Care Centre in
Forfar, Angus.
